Our Matcha
Our matcha comes from Uji, Kyoto—a region known worldwide for its centuries-old tea culture. There, it is produced using traditional methods, carefully processed, and ground in granite stone mills.
The result: an exceptionally fine, rich matcha of true ceremonial quality.

Frequently asked questions about égoïste Academy training
Training structure & process
1. What is the timeline for the training program?
The training starts with the online module (Anatomy & Principles), which you can complete flexibly at your own pace. This is followed by intensive classroom days (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and a subsequent self-study phase. You can find the exact dates in the respective course description.
2. Is the online module mandatory?
Yes. The Anatomy & Principles module is a prerequisite for participation in the classroom days and must be completed in advance.
3. What will I learn in the online module?
This module teaches the basics of functional anatomy and biomechanics—specifically for Pilates and barre. Topics include alignment and pelvic stability, core integration and spinal health, breath control and precision, and isometric loading and muscular endurance.
4. How flexible are the dates?
You can complete the on-demand modules flexibly. The attendance dates are fixed in order to guarantee you intensive and focused training. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reschedule individual attendance dates.
5. Where do the face-to-face sessions take place?
The face-to-face sessions will take place in the city and location specified in the course description. You will receive the exact details at least 7–10 days before the course starts.
Self-Study & Community
6. How many hours of self-study are required?
The scope varies depending on the module: Reformer Pilates 40 hours, Mat Pilates 25 hours, Barre 25 hours. The hours can be completed entirely at our studio – as a participant, you will receive a 20% discount on our credit packages.
7. What are community classes?
Community Classes are optional units that we recommend in addition to the training. They give you the opportunity to gain further teaching practice, observe courses, and exchange ideas with other trainers.
8. Is there support during and after the training?
We will personally accompany you during your training and are always available to answer any questions you may have. During the self-study phase, you will become part of the égoïste community, observe courses, participate in training sessions yourself, and optionally teach your first courses under our guidance. Even after the training, we offer opportunities for further education and exchange.
Requirements & Language
9. What are the requirements for participation?
Our training courses are aimed at motivated beginners and experienced trainers. Previous knowledge is helpful but not essential. We recommend regular training before and during the course, as the classroom sessions are physically active and require a good level of fitness.
10. Is the training conducted exclusively in English?
The language of instruction during the training is English. The training scripts are available in both German and English. Discussions within the group and your own practice as a trainer can, of course, also take place in German.
11. What do I need to bring to training?
You will receive a detailed list before the course begins. We generally recommend comfortable clothing and plenty of motivation—we will communicate all further details in good time.

12. What is included in the scope of training?
You will receive access to all booked modules, including digital learning materials, practical phases, manual (DE/EN), goodie bag, studio access, and personal support. Access to the online module is available at any time after purchase.
13. What is the total cost?
You can find the prices in the respective course description. All important services are included in the price. Additional costs are incurred for travel, accommodation, and meals.
14. Are there any financing options?
Yes, payment by installments is offered directly at the time of booking.
15. Will I receive a certificate?
Yes, upon successful completion, you will receive a recognized certificate confirming your qualification as a trainer.
